Introducing our 2020 independent short film competition

Our short film competition is BACK for 2020!

The popular independent filmmakers short film competition has this year seen over 500 entries from nearly 50 countries including films made from as far as Australia, USA, Iran, Russia, Spain, London and right here in Harrogate! This has expanded from seven to nine screenings for the fourth edition with the genres of Romance and Silent films joining the line-up.

The standard of films submitted was incredibly high - as always - and we looks forward to welcoming filmmakers from all over the globe to the Festival.
