Hollywood star Richard E Grant confirmed by Harrogate Film Festival
Back to BlogAcclaimed British actor, screenwriter and director, Richard E Grant, is to play a special one-off event at The Royal Hall in Harrogate. Grant has starred in screen epics such as the recent BAFTA winning Logan, Withnail and I, Bram Stokers Dracula and as a cameo role in Game of Thrones.
‘An evening with Richard E Grant’ is set to be a highlight in the Harrogate events calendar.
Born in 1957, Grant is a much-admired performer, appearing in many high-profile films and TV shows, consistently brushing shoulders with some of Hollywood’s biggest names.
Such an illustrious career and level of experience provides him with a unique insight into the world of film.
During the evening, Grant will talk about his life in film and Hollywood experiences. And, to add even further interest, there will be a live audience Q/A with the man himself!
The Royal Hall, which is sponsored by Harrogate Convention Centre, is the perfect venue for such a prestigious event, with 1000 seats set in a glamorous gold venue.

Publicity around the event is set to further heighten as Andrew Collins, the multi award-winning writer, bestselling author and broadcaster will be interviewing Grant. Collins is Film Editor of The Radio Times and hosted this year’s Sky Movies Oscar Nominations show. He was also previously editor of the film magazine Empire and has interviewed everybody in the world of film, from Judi Dench and Samuel L Jackson to Johnny Depp and Tom Hanks (and everybody in between!).
On the night there will also be a few spoilers to set the scene for the 2019 Harrogate Film Festival.
